They're even meeting after their A Levels.
It's amazing that they're this bonded even after having left Crescent and Dance for two years. She's right; they're the GWH batch, the batch that was the most hardworking academically and in Dance, and the most inspiring + motivating + awesome batch of seniors ever. In fact, the times they led us are the times I miss the most. I wish we could bring them back; I wish I'd treasured them more.

Dance has changed incredibly much. I wonder how much less it means to the Dancers now.

My fellow Crescent Dancers, will we stay as bonded as them years after we've left Crescent? I hope we will. Let's make an effort to.

Anyway,Queen Bimbo found out for us. Anyhow Art's on the 19th and 20th of December. Either that or 20th and 21st. It's a Saturday and a Sunday so whichever yeah :p
Laoshi said he can choreograph a dance for us, isn't that cool? Yes it is! Yay us! :D
After hOrrifying Oleves omgosh that looks so liianxz but nevermind, we'll confirm with you guys again k. Please join, it'll be our absolute lasterest dance together, EVER! I know we thought Juhuatai was, and then AYG or was it the other way round, but this will really be our last because we'll be parting ways, SOB SOB!! So consider it seriously okay!!! Not to forget, you get to see ME! :)

During prom, we have to take a group picture okay! If you don't know already, Celeste and Zhen are both contesting for the title of Ms Crescentian! Heehee! Maybe we'll ask Geraldine to shout 'Dancers, ji he!' so we can all gather to take photos! :)

im very thankful this is our last dance together and not any other crappy dance
life is so good. i think our batch is one of the luckiest batch in history
we had the most opportunities and dances to dance.

I have nothing important to say, but WHY is everyone talking about the supposed Genting trip?!

I asked Ms Sim before all these funny rumours came about and she said 'Maybe a short one, to Malaysia.' And you know the teachers and the school, so I really doubt that will happen, so dancers, don't get your hopes up yo! :/

We need to learn how to do french-braiding!! 法国辫子！I'm quite sure that's not the correct word but I can't seem to remember but okay whatever lalalala. Xiuxian and I were saying maybe we should go to Nanhua super early and ask the girls to help us, but I bet they'll be annoyed! And it's not very nice, so maybe we should all go to youtube and learn but omggggg I am absolutely hopeless with my hands! I can burn my hand taking things out of the toaster and...

Yeah anyway now we only have Joan and Lingling, Xiuxian and Shermin, and Zhen. I know for a fact that Zhen has done loads already and no one else has started! Hurry up guys, tell me if you want to choreograph a part, slots are running out! Whee I was fibbing!

Anyway, I think one min per slow, max. At the moment, our dance is abit too short eh, so pleaseeee help out! Anddd people who didn't come for the AYG costume thingum, Amanda was suggesting that not all of us dance? Because it's nearing the exam period.. As in, your call. So if you decide not to dance, then just tell me or smth? Yepxz. Don't like people backing out at the last minute yeah.

We're going to choreograph everything and be done by June. So we can just have once a week practices or smth to do final touch-ups. Yeeeee ha!

I have done 3 lines of SS. Okay that was over-estimating. Heehee. Happy studying, people!

Two years ago on 24-04-07, we fought a battle, we danced our hearts out, we cried at the last pose, & we understood what loving Dance meant.

And.. what's happen to the passion? It all seems to have vanished. Even in our batch. The batches under us have no passion at all.

C'mon people, let's revive the spirit...

I feel sorry for them, because they don't know what the passion is like, and I'm afraid their interest in Dance will fade away. There’s dance tomorrow, or at least I hope so. We’re running out of time, we really are.
Sec4s, I really really think we need to buck up. I know it sounds like I’m just talking big and all the crap seeing as I’m not dancing but I wouldn’t I give to be dancing eh..

Today’s the 12th of April, we have 77 more days to 29th June. If we take away let’s say, two weeks for the mid-years (juniors’), and the 10 weekends, plus Chinese dance practices, we have 33 days. Even if we could practice everyday, it wouldn’t be enough. We’ll only see Laoshi about ten more times, maybe a couple more if we have combined practices, but is that really enough? And not many people come for extra practices. If I skip anymore, okay forget it I can just drop my subject.

Sounds like all talk and no work? I wonder. I think I’m wasting my time posting here.

Hello, have you guys missed me?

I know that was a stupid question to ask. Everyone did, of course!!

Whee, I don't know why I'm posting here, maybe it's because it's so dark here. I am your light. Dingding! :)

gggg, seems such a long time ago since we were sec1s and new to everything in Dance. When we were still learning the warm-up and getting used to things. When we got scolded by Christine and Cassandra like crazy and got freaked out by all of them. Before we knew it, they had stepped down and Michelle, Zifang and Lily stepped up. They were no scarier than the previous batch. But we loved them all the same.

I remember Elizabeth teaching Letty, Zhen and I how to do Qianfans, and always telling us where we went wrong and everything. When we even had time to take out all the mats and practice, before we turned up our noses at everything like that..

When we had our very first performance, Speech Day 06. And I had to dance the horrendous Qi Ge Ren, the most dainty and un-me dance in history. Remember the Mongolian dance where everyone laughed at us and we were so self-conscious? We went through that together. Then it was time for SYF practices,where everytime we were unsure we had to ask the seniors and it was so scary. It was a terrible period of time, but we endured it together. The much-coveted sleeping time was used by everyone and I remember there was once when a- okay I think that was the next year. My memory's all fuzzy, pardon me.

We had morning practices, where we'd dance our SYF in the morning and were excused for Mass Run, I think.. Where we'd stay in the hall til assembly until the whole school started filing in. We practised the same dance over and over again, but we didn't even seem to improve. I know I cried frequently, at home, because I was so scared we would disappoint our seniors and Laoshi. (I feel so weak yuck. ) The day before our actual performance, I remember Zifang saying that we'd all worked hard for it, and the outcome didn't matter. And we shouted siyeyaopingchulai that one last time..

The performance, was, a blur. I can't remember it. I just remember many people crying but I was just standing there, feeling lost. The results came a few days later, Michelle, Joyce and Elizabeth came bursting into our classroom saying we got GWH. We cried. And when the sec4s 07' left, we cried again. All of us. As we hugged, I could feel the passion for Crescent Dance vibrating through every one of us, the feeling was just, remarkable.

I'm going to stop here now. I wish we could find back that feeling, and experience it once again. Sadly, I don't think that will happen. Now now, not ever.

So yeah, thanks so much!

Amanda had to go to Douglas and say ‘Can I hug you?’ Xiuxian had to go to Nicholas and dance ‘Nobody’ to him. Hahaha. Yiyang had to go to Letty and say ‘Letty, I know you’re concussed so I hope you don’t remember this tomorrow. You’re so soft and fluffy and you make me go all gooey on the inside, will you marry me?’ Joanne had to walk seductively around uhhhh, I don’t know his name, and make a pouty face at him and Liangyuan had to flirt with Celeste and stare at her for twenty second. I am not telling anyone my dare :$)

Thanks Xiuxian for being the one and only organized person and collecting all the receipts! You’ll have to meet Nicholas again to pay people back, I don’t how you’re going to do that but yeah :/ Wait until combined in March, if we get to go… L

Thanks Yilin for teaching me how to make fish balls with the ultra gross fish paste m hands were so smelly after that okay! And no my hands are not always smelly! :@ I know we threw them away after that but it wasn’t because I made them, it was because soot went in k! ahahah.

Haha oh man, is ‘donkeys’ spelt like that. Okay I don’t care as long as my meaning gets across. :ooooooooo 2 whole pages on MS Word the whole world thinks I am a genius and guess what, I think so too!! :D If I’ve forgotten anyone I am so so sorry, it’s probably because I don’t know your name but I’ve tried my best so yeah. :/

Ah yes, thanks Winnie for making the new blogskin! Even though I can't really see it but it looks pretty anyway and there's another song bugging my song it's annoying! Heehee it's Secondhand Serenade! I love Secondhand Serenade. Eh I feel like starting a birthday wishlist, hinthint! Okay I shall stop being stupid and get down to business! -bangs table- 8D

The Nanhua dancers will be helping to get the misc. items like tongs without the h, ice, cooler, OMG SATAY STICKS SOMEONE TELL THEM I FORGOT, paper plates, cups, forks, spoons, I forgot I forgot I forgot. The list is with Yiyang or Nicholas, I forgot that too. And I think some of them will be coming down earlier to help us get food like noodles, and chicken wings that we will be buying on that day itself. I don't think my fridge is big enough to contain all the food. :/ Yep.

Anyway, minus the people who are coming earlier, Yiyang, if you see this, have you found them yet?, the rest of the people are supposed to come at 2.30 pm. Meet at uh, Dover MRT I think. Near the control station or something. Yep. Bring an extra change of clothes if you want, I think we're playing catching, Freeze and Melt. Heehee. Check with Lingyuan, she's the Games Master of the day. I think.

I'm not very sure about many things because my memory tends to fail me at inappropriate times so if you wanna check, you can do so with Zhen, Xiuxian or Shermin. Or Nicholas, Merrien, Jinghui, Yiyang if you prefer. Oh oh and if you wanna swim or something, feel free to do so. There are four pools with varying heights, from 30 cm to 1.6m I think. I haven't swum for a long time. Hehheh. But I think we have a programme list, it's with Xiuxian and Nicholas, so yeah..

Whee I hope the 17th won't be screwed. Amanda and Winnie, if you two ever see this, dyou guys wanna the photographers of the day! And to take pictures of everyone, not only yourselves :p Wheeee I'm so going to get killed during dance tomorrow! Dancers, remind me to remind you guys about the food okay. Hello. Everyone, please make 17th of January free. If possible, the Crescent-Nanhua Sec3 outing should be held then. My house, barbecue. The imitation function room will also be booked. For lazy people like me who refuse to get hot and sweaty.

Uh, if you can't make it, can you like tell, Xiuxian or something. By right you should already have replied to her message, but considering she hasn't really told me anything, I'm guessing that more than half of you didn't even bother replying. No thanks for that :)

Hello is this blog dead yet?

Just wanna ask if we're going to have a sec3 dance outing or dance chalet (sec3s/everyone)?
'Cos we're always talking about certain topics and then it will end of out of the sudden with no ending and decision! I think we need a proper sec3 dance outing because the one we had last year didn't really succeed as alot of people decided not to/could not go for it.

And can't wait for the dance pullover and tee!

So, we need people to plan and decide about when it is going to be and er, ya plan what we're supposed to do? (Oh thats like everyone right!)

This blog is so full of Shuzhen and her shenanigans. :D
I've gone crazy with the Wonder Girls' {Tell Me} and {So Hot} dance nowadays.
But it's sort of cute anyway. So all dancers should learn. Right?
So sec3 dance dinner will be held on the first day of marking day at lets say around six plus and I pretty much guess we'll stay still quite late. Mm. :D
Anyway, Shermin's badly in need of Chemistry tuition or ____ will kill her if she fails again. So far, ludicrous Shermin had only passed her Chemistry papers ONCE. Note the tone.

Gosh, I think blogger is so ugly I can't stand it. And yes I'm giving the blog CPR, but I think very soon it's going to be the other way round because the Mt Homework Everest has fallen down on me and is squishing me to death on account of it being so large and fat. It's even fatter than me, can you believe that! Today my brother was annoying me, he kept saying I was fat, omg! Oh well he isn't wrong to say that, sadly :(

Anyway, the point of this funny post is to ask you guys to remember to remind me to take the photo order forms from Geraldine and also to, shit what is the other thing omg. I think it's to discuss about who will come for Thursday's practice. And I think there's something else but I can't remember what. - Please be at Clementi MRT at 8.15am on Wednesday.
- If you get there and can't find anyone(I think you can just look for masses of yellow), (I'm assuming you have a senior's number), call a senior. The level reps have my number.
- Do not be late, or you will suffer all our wrath.
- Everyone should be in their P.E t-shirt and school skirt.
- Do not wear your leotard and tights there. Leotards are alright, just not tights.
- Bring them.
- No slippers, just shoes.
- Your lunch will be brought lovingly to you by the Sec3s.
- People who will be late due to varying reasons, call me when you're outside Nanhua's gate. I will go out to get you. You should already have my number, assuming you don't have it, look for your level reps. If you don't have their numbers, too bad, I don't have theirs either.
- Even if the security guards let you in, do not go in. I don't want you wandering inside Nanhua.

Openhouse Practice
- Thursday at 9am
- Venue is unconfirmed.
- Please try and get the songs from the Sec3s.
- Sec3s, we'll talk further about this at 7.30 am on Wednesday when we go scour for lunch.

Combined Practice is going to be super super (Y) so we must all be super super (Y) and not let Letty, Xiu and Karen down yeah. We musn't ruin any good impression other people have of us, and worsen the impression anyone has of us. Besides the being guai part, the only thing you have to remember is to HAVE FUN! As for the chinese dance performed on National Day, I'm not so sure about the response since no one has commented, really. Oh well, I refuse to comment further.

Next week's the dreaded common tests and all I've done is attempted chem. So yeah, I've learnt that neutralisation is not equivalent to a redox reaction. Damn Amelia actually managed to get in again.

Yesterday was a horrible horrible, horrible day. I don't know how the juniors felt after we talked to them, I'd bet they were pissed and wanted to kill us cos they felt we were throwing our weight around. But I tell you we never had the intention of DEMANDING respect from you.

We, as a level, want and hope you will give us the respect that we need in order to enforce proper discipline in dance. I do hope you've all realised that dance is a CCA that focuses alot on the word 'discipline.' It's probably something that makes clear the line between Crescent Dance and other dance societies.

Our tears yesterday were not for show, and they were definitely not induced due to mass hysteria. We cried for Crescent Dance, we cried because we didn't want to let Crescent Dance to fall to pieces, not in our hands, not in anyone's hands. I saw juniors crying yesterday, I hope all of you meant the tears. Even if you didn't cry, its okay. Cos what we want to see are not tears, we want to see you working, PING-ING out for Crescent Dance. Cos that's what we do, and that's what we want you to do. Cos only then will you realise what Crescent Dance is all about.

Hey everyone,

we were thinking that since the bonding is not yet confirmed, why nto we have a sec 3 dance trashing for the time being. Because dance bonding is more inconveinient as you guys know, its a hectic year to begin with so why not change it to dance trashing for the time being? Dance bonding is still on though. Ok, so we have to vote on it, to vote whether or not you guys want the dance trashing and the dates, please note that reasons for not turning up , going out with friends are not allowed on the day of the trashing...I hope that all of you will vote, thanks. I personally think that it will help us bond better. Most likely it will be in MPR or G Block under the carpark area, its a rather relaxed one so you can bring food and tibits.
